Towards Sustained Motion
with Deep Love and WonderÂ

Join me for a special spring work session. It’s a wonderful time to reflect on the first half of the year and set intentions for the second half. We'll begin under a full moon, just before summer.
I'll guide you through 10 lessons over two weeks, May 20-31, in just 15-minute sessions. Everything will be recorded, you can work at your own pace. But I'll be there to support you for two weeks.
Bring your ideas for a creative project--handwork, writing, designing, gardening, teaching or whatever feels most exciting to you right now. You supply the ideas, I'll supply the structure. All mediums and experience levels welcome. (Note: This is not a handwork class. No materials needed.)
One step at a time.
Creative practice is the ongoing work of making art—it’s the daily rituals, ongoing habits, and organized tasks. At all stages of a creative life, you need to make time to tune-in, dream bigger, and set new ideas to action. In this class, you’ll focus on what you want most to make in your life right now, how you want to share it with the world, and who will support you on this journey. You’ll demystify the creative process while holding space for the magical muses because creative practice is pragmatic and poetic.

"This class was exactly what I needed to gently focus my creative energy on what -- surprisingly, delightfully, magically -- excited me most, and create a firm stepping off place and direction. A path forward, and a precise yet easeful commitment to its process, progress and unfolding. Katrina is able to hold space for the spark of inspiration and intention, and provide guidance for actualizing, bringing a tender creative dream into being."
—K.D.
"The Creative Practice class was so great and I just want to say I found it extremely helpful and really inspiring. Thank you again for a most wonderful experience! I now have found some clarity around working with my ideas and ways of finding some space (time and physical) to do this."
—Libby Q.

"Katrina’s Creative Practice class came along at exactly the right time to propel my project forward. I loved the thoughtful moments throughout our time together as well as the really helpful framework Katrina provided. There are several important steps I have taken since class to fire up my creativity and get working."

This Class is for You If:
- You consider yourself a creative person but want to better prioritize your creative time.
- You have a project in mind for this year but can’t seem to get to it. Yet.
- You don’t understand how people can write books, launch classes, or run an online shop with small children around.
- You don’t understand how people could have full-time jobs and make art just because it feels better than the alternative of not making art.
- You want to take a creative risk but you need some support. (Because you are not a robot but a human. This class is for humans only.)
- You’d like to sell your work, exhibit your work, publish your work, launch a class, make a quilt, knit a sweater, mend your clothes, or start a dye garden but you’d like more support. (This class is not a how-to craft class but all of these projects are appropriate for this class and all would be welcome.)
This Class is Not for You If:
- You think you need an art degree to be taken seriously as an artist.
- You think you need a writing degree to be taken seriously as a writer.
- You do not consider yourself a creative person.
- You aren’t willing to make mistakes or take risks.
- You want me to tell you exactly how you should be a successful person (I already think you’re a successful person and I might not even know you! Plus, this isn’t a class about precision or replication, it’s about brainstorming, map-making, and putting your biggest dream right now into action.)
- You don’t like chocolate. I’m sorry I just don’t think it’s going to work out.
- You cannot take yourself lightly, sometimes, and simultaneously see your incredible contributions to this broken world and how your creativity makes it more tolerable, meaningful, and exquisitely artful.
